Avoid Condo Buyers’ Remorse for Pre- Construction Condos

When buying a pre-construction condo there are a whole slew of things to consider that are written in the fine print. There has been quite a bit of buzz recently about some Buyers filing lawsuits against the Trump Towers Toronto for inflating the maintenance fees, property tax and other incidentals than originally anticipated when signing the agreement several years before.

It is extremely important that the documents regarding rules and regulations are fully understood and signed at the time of purchase since these rules will govern the budgets for the first year.

Moneyville.ca columnist and real estate lawyer, Mark Weisleder, just recently did a great article outlining all this along with some other very important things you need to know and consider when buying a pre-construction unit. Including closing costs, pets, common expenses and more.
